Preparation of the ternary composite ZnTi-LDH@CuS@PANI for highly efficient electromagnetic wave attenuation and ultraviolet shielding performance

  • The impact of ultraviolet (UV) and electromagnetic wave (EMW) radiation on human health has attracted increasing research interest. In response to the limitations of traditional single-function materials in providing simultaneous protection, this study successfully synthesized a ternary composite, ZnTi-LDH@CuS@PANI, with both UV shielding and EMW absorption capabilities, using solvothermal and interfacial polymerization methods. The resulting composite achieves a minimum reflection loss (RLmin) of −70.03 dB at a thickness of 4.63 mm and an effective absorption bandwidth (EAB) of 4.16 GHz, while exhibiting excellent UV shielding performance. This work offers a novel strategy for fabricating multifunctional materials that integrate microwave absorption and UV shielding functions.
